A
Conventional Biological Treatment
Screening → Equalization → Biological Treatment → Clarification → Disinfection
A conventional arrangement suitable for domestic sewage and similar biodegradable wastewater where clarification provides adequate solid-liquid separation.
B
MBBR-Based Treatment
Screening → Equalization → MBBR → Solid–Liquid Separation → Disinfection
A moving-bed biofilm reactor configuration that uses attached-growth media for biological treatment where project conditions support this process selection.
C
MBR-Based Treatment
Screening → Equalization → Biological Treatment / MBR → Disinfection / Polishing When Required
A membrane bioreactor arrangement where high-quality effluent, compact footprint or reuse requirements justify membrane-based solid-liquid separation.
Illustrative configurations only. Final process selection requires confirmed wastewater characteristics, required effluent quality and project conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions
What types of wastewater can the modular WWTP treat?
The modular system is designed for domestic sewage and similar biodegradable wastewater. Typical sources include residential communities, hotels, hospitals, schools, worker camps and remote-site facilities. Complex industrial effluents such as electroplating, pharmaceutical or high-salinity wastewater require a project-specific industrial wastewater evaluation and are not the standard application of this product.
How is the treatment process selected?
The treatment process is selected based on wastewater characteristics, required effluent quality, treatment capacity, site conditions and project requirements. After reviewing the available design basis, our engineering team proposes an appropriate configuration that may include pretreatment, biological treatment, solid-liquid separation, disinfection and other required steps.
Does every modular wastewater treatment plant use MBR?
No. MBR is one of several possible process options. Depending on the project, conventional activated sludge, MBBR, clarification, filtration or other arrangements may be more suitable. Final technology selection is based on the confirmed design basis.
Can treated wastewater be reused?
Reuse may be possible where the treated effluent meets the required quality for the intended reuse application. The actual reuse suitability depends on influent characteristics, treatment process performance and applicable local reuse criteria, which must be confirmed during the design stage.
Can treatment capacity be expanded in the future?
Where future expansion is considered during system planning, modular configurations can be arranged to support phased capacity expansion or redundancy by adding treatment modules according to project requirements and site conditions.
What information is required to prepare a system proposal?
Useful information includes wastewater analysis, required treatment capacity, required effluent quality or discharge limit, site and utility conditions, and any project-specific requirements such as automation level, delivery scope, installation or commissioning support, and redundancy. If some data is not yet available, we can help identify the remaining requirements during the preliminary review.
